  The western region is an inseparable part of Ghana and oil and other minerals all belong, all over the world to the state.
  Stop your nonsense because all the useless chiefs are an obstacle for investments in the oil industry to develop Ghana.

  The sea is not part of the Western Region. They can fuck off. They should charge rent for the land that the supporting infrastructure are built on.

  Imagine a minister of State also spewing this nonsense!!! How much was given to the Volta region for the Akosombo dam, Greater Accra for the Tema harbour, Ashanti for the Obuasi mines? By the way the comparison with Nigeria is balderdash. Most of Nigeria's oil is on shore, and thus pollutes the coasts directly and frequently unlike Ghana's fields which are not less than 60 nautical miles offshore. The nonsense must stop now, and this idiot of a minister must be fired immediately.
