  In Germany your broken down vehicle will never stay more than three hours on the road. It will be towed away. Nana Akufo Addo must establish and ideas department where people can call and share ideas on development.

  right there. the reason we have intelligent and wise people then the riffraffs. are you listening to the Christian council? gov't. stolen cars are driven on these roads.

  It saddened me that our mps who are only interested in getting more money than thinking about innocent lives being lost on daily basis thru road accidents and acid attacks.They are not going to get sitting allowances and thinks v8s can protect them so no one will initiate legislation to protect lives on our roads and from acid attacks

  I agree with the christian council to some extent ,but as a country we need to educate citizens on how to use our roads and streets.At times I observed ,instead of people crossing the road straight,they walked diagonal across the street or crossing the street at sharp curves creating difficulty for vehicles negotiating the curve.At times,psychologically one could tell that the pedestrians think that they are important than the vehicles and are therefore not prepared to walk along the streets or pavements but rather in the street.

  All of these are as a result of the law not strict on drivers and owners of cars. If we are held responsible for our actions we will apply common sense on the road. It's also necessary to have informed education on what to do and what not to do. For instance do we know when you drink alcohol it stays in your blood for 24 hours and in UK if you are breathalysed and you are still over the legal alcohol limit you are doomed irrespective of your class in the society. We need this rather than relying on "God is in control so no problem ".

  The only way those senseless accidents can be minimize is to make it criminal office to leave a broken down vehicle by the side or in the middle of highway or vehicular road. Parliament should as a matter of urgency enact a law to that effect. No broken vehicle should be left by the roadside for more than six hours.
