  I was really shocked and saddened when I heard this news.Don't imitate the Japanese and Asians,when they fail exams then they commit suicide.Have you not heard about the British Prime Minister Winston Churchill who fails seven times in exams. But he did not give up, later came back strong to pass,to became prime minister in Great Britain.Very sad indeed. May her soul rest in peace.

  the message that the girl left behind may be telling a message. what kind of girl did the parents wanted her to be? Are they asking her to read a course she never wanted? or giving her out to a man she is not happy with? can the police looked into her performance so far as long as the course she is reading is concerned. Can they also look for close friends and ask if she had ever complain of something going on between herself and that of her parents?

  Was this unfortunate student pressurised by the parents to study a subjects that were beyond her ability to study? Did her lecturers provide any guidance to her if they had noticed earlier on that she had chosen the wrong area science? Is it not likely that she could not articulate her concerns and worries to friends and Colleagues that she could not handle the subjects for fear of being made a laughing stock? Are first year students in our tertiary institutions given the necessary guidance and counselling within their departments and faculties? More needs to be done on all the above so that this unfortunate but avoidable incident would not be repeated. And for the silly narcissists who are writing rubbish, consider the situation her parents are in at the moment.
