Our schools need counseling counselors assigned to students and students encouraged all the time to seek counseling or share their problems with them.

I mean it looks written in a hurry and very vague. If she wrote it then her parents hold the clue to what happened. As much as it is hard to understand why the girl has wasted her young life,is anybody thinking about the stress and the pressure which comes with a university education?
Is a pity,but,these things do happen,but to give comments as it being spiritual or murder,I think we are overblowning it.
Can anyone say for sure how many young people take their own lives in Ghana everyday?
This is a social problem,all of us need to find a solution,but as usual in Ghana,nothing happens without outside forces being the cause.Like rituals,witches,juju or murder.
People please we are living in the year 2017,let's try and find scientific solutions to our problems,and stop this primitiv way of thinking.
My condolences goes to her Parents,the family and her school mates.

This is hard to believe. The police should try as much as possible to investigate this matter and if there's any cctv camara in the school. All those must be checked. Ghana is no more trusted country as it used to be.

FRAUD AT ELLEMBELLE DISTRICT ASSEMBLY YOUTHS EMPLOYMENT OFFICE

Recruitment is ongoing at Ellembelle Youth Employment Office.According to the insider some NDC members who are tertiary students in Ellembelle constituency of the Western Region were on the payroll of NYA program. Over 173 tertiary students are been paid every months. About Sixty-Three(63) of NDC members in Ellembelle constituency who are zonal executives members during the 2016 elections were been paid without working.

The insider has also revealed that Fifteen (15) NDC serial callers and some communicators are on the NYA payroll for no work done.

Source closer to the Youth Employment Coordinator Mr Titus Aikins who is the assembly member for the people of Menzezor is behind the mess. According to some of the members of NYA,they are been asked to pay One Ghana Cedis before the forms are given them to fill and join the Youths Program. Also each member was asked to pay 30 Cedis before they are employed.

One member of NDC Tertiary students (Takoradi Technical University)on the payroll has revealed that he has asked the Coordinator to take his name off the payroll because the change in government may uncover the exercises and land them into trouble.

As measures to removed the Tertiary(Tein) NDC members names from the payroll, the coordinator Mr Aikins who was the former NDC Youths Organizer in Ellembelle constituency has sent messages across to the polling station executives of the party in some towns within Ellembelle to bring new names out for replacement.

It is has also been uncovered that some NDC members who are above the NYA program's age(Above the Youthful age) names are on the payroll and been paid as Youth's Workers.

One NDC serial caller in the constituency has admitted that is true their names are on the NYA program but believed the monthly payments is to aid them to work for the party and used some to purchased Mobile Phones,Airtime, Transportation to radio stations and feeding.

In a closed door interview with one of the executives member in Western Region NYA office,he hinted that they have received such a complaints from some people from Ellembelle constituency and have sent the reports to the police BNI(name withheld) to investigate.
He also hinted that they have also received previous Bank statements from the Banks to study.He has added that very soon all the perpetrators names will be brought into book.

An attempt to reached the regional police commander has proved futile.

First are we sure the deceased wrote that note? No date, no.name, no signature, no addressee. So we need to establish if that is her handwriting. Because trailing in one subject is not so bad a performance that some one will normally take her life. Many students are trailing yet they are working hard to pass. I agree though that coping levels differ. Second under what circumstances was the note discovered? Just lying by or on her body ( in her pocket etc?). Because any one could write and leave the note in order to justify a suicide. So.more thorough investigations are required including taking finger prints of the note, establishing actual time of the suicide and how she eluded all her room mates to do this. Until this is done let us not rule out other possibilities. But the bigger lesson in this for Al of us especially parents is that we need to de-emphasise the importance of passing examinations in Ghana. It is not only those with good grades who can make it in life. So.let us take our children as we find them. Bill Gates, Donald Trump, Steve Jobs, Alike Dangote, Dr. Paa Kwesi Nduom, Michael Zuckerberg etc were not necessarily the most brilliant in their classes when they were in school.

In any case, I am emphatically stressing on those of us who writes sensible comments without insults or insinuations. We are dealing with the death of someone's daughter and must show maturity in whatever we say or write. While some are attributing her death to be political and spiritual reasons, some others are pointing fingers on poor academic performance. All of your suggestions are welcome but there are still more questions which demand only one answer. My first question is whether the young lady is in a relationship and if yes, who is her boyfriend or her girlfriend, in case of bisexuality. I am trying to apply the theory of " WHERE DO BROKEN HEARTS GO ". As we all know, love can sometimes lead us astray but who am I to say that the young lady properly, was a brokenhearted girl ? Well my people, let us allow the police to do their job. Meanwhile, my heartfelt sympathy goes to her family's bereavement .
