  So far the program for Ghana@60 seems reasonable and inclusive. But can the committee tell us why it needed $4.5million for "What do you know" (which I used to love!) and a chorale festival etc?

  It doesn't matter whether it's less than, greater than or equal to the bus branding budget, which was a reckless waste on taxpayers money. The question we should be asking is the opportunity cost of spending $4.5 million on a celebration that means nothing when many Ghanaians are suffering. Could the money have been better spent elsewhere?

  No matter what you go through, during your birthday, you mostly celebrate.
  Please, lets not think always about the money.
  I don't want to compare us to any country but I am in china and just thier new year celebrations, they spent a lot on just beatification.
  I might not know much. But just think about this, awards to be given to students, and other leaders, the musicians that will be invited during the program with the exception of Don Moen whom have been paid off by an NGO, the moneys we used in making the clothes, the decoration aspect which will cut across all regions. So My dear, lets pray that it will be a wonderful program and that everything will be successful.
  Lets all come together to celebrate so the world will know us.

Hold the shit at the Accra Sports Stadium or the Independence Square. I bet even the donation from this even will pay the Ghana@60. Second question, How can this simple self-sustaining programs cost $4.5 million. Are we importing brand new Mercedes and BMW cars again? Give me $100,000 and I will organize this with more activities.

  It's very sad when I see how other countries treat thier flag and proud of it to uphold and lift it high wherever they go.
  Though people complain how slowly our country has been growing all this while but no matter what, we have one Ghana.
  Ghana's flag is one of the most beautiful flags in the world including our anthem .
  Please lets come together and uphold our flag high .
