Evangelism teams from the various Charismatic churches keep on poaching and dragging orthodox church members to join their church instead of trying to convert non christians and unbelievers.

You guys squander everything in the church, including peoples tithes and offering all in the name of GIVING and you fear same would happen if people leave.

You want people to serve you always? If I were you I will let my other pastors establish branches of the church and name it to their preference and be the heads and pay you royalties. THINK ABOUT THIS.

Just like Ghanaian pastors abroad building mansions home in Ghana but never live in. They take all the monies under the captions: Pastors' birthday; pastor's allowance; pastor's mortgage; Pastor's car payment; Pastor's father's day gift; Pastor's wife's mother's day gift; pastor's seed sowing gifts; Special offering for pastor and call them.

The members suffer, they are just made to believe everything is spiritual. People follow to the extend that they spend their last penny on the church and their children suffer, their homes are not taken care of, their marriages break, yet you Agyin Asare and your cohorts claim it is all about GOD?

JUST STOP THE NONSENSE and serve rather than to be served. You are a servant of God and just human. You guys need to mellow!!!

A very simple analogy will make you understand what a 'one-man' church means: consider Presbyterian, Methodist, Anglican, Roman Catholic and a church like Agyin-Asares. Clearly the first 4 were all formed by missionaries, the last one was founded by a single person (one-man), who is the owner, the pastor, the prophet etc. Such a church noramally started small (pastor, wife, kids and a few friends) and then grow to have several branches, yet they are still the property of the founder and no one else.

On the other hand, the 'conventional' churhes do not belong to any particular person.

This open approach will backfire and instead create gossip, which can fuel a split.
In context however, what Absalom did was in direct response to the misbehavior of David.

What about if God is calling for a new thing? If you are a leader in a church do not ever be afraid of a split. One man and one man managed churches are prone to splits.

All these churches you see these days came from other Methodist, Roman Catholic or Anglican. Please bishop, do your home work very well before you preach such a message. We are listening.

I think it is the spirit of Satan, not Absalom which is casing splits in churches. Satan was the first to wish being a leader like God, way way off before Absalom was born.

The fact is dat Jesus himself never establish anything call church or Christianity, Paul was the man behind and since then to the 15th centuries u have emergence of mainly Europeans and Americans forming the notable churches named after the founders. Today the church is highly commercialized with the smart guys including even women who the bible says are unclean for seven days during mensuration are making it big under the cover of Jesus. Time to be wise and seek true salvation God is perfect God and not author of confusion.

Dear Bishop why are you bedeviled with church split.From the early church history this phinominon has been happening until now.Please ask yourself the reasons why the church of Jesus Christ cannot hold themselves in unity.From my own experiencial observation, the following few factors contribute by and large to the split of the church.Abuse of power, Financial management,Disrespect to subodinates, some leading pastors pick beautiful girls clindestinely as girl friends culminated in the floodgate of fornication in the church. Some of the so called spirit filled churches are tainted with occult practices while others use Black Juju backed by dwarves which foretells furtunes as if they are seeing visions to unsuspected clients for monetary consideration.Dear Bishop,the above mentioned cases have become endemic and circumstantial evidenceences to the split of the mordern day churches.Your future write up must be, how can we solve the protrcted problems of Church splits, thank you.

Years ago (1980s), I interviewed Agyin-Asare in Tamale. His was a young church and he used to have his services at the Catering Rest House, Tamale. The purpose of the interview was to establish why young people were leaving ("splitting"???) from the Catholic Church to his church. His response to me then was that the Catholic Church was 'lording" it over its followers by relying on hierarchical titles like Pope, Archbishop, Bishop, etc. In fact, at the time, Charles Agyin-Asare was simply known as "Brother Charles". That was late 1980s.

Fast forward, almost 30 years later, he calls himself "Bishop", has a lot of money and property, has a "Dome" and is now wondering about church splits??? We are still here; we knew when, where and how you started and we are still here. You are worried about rebellions in your church; you'very been worried for a while about succession and secession in your church so you sent both your wife and son to pastoral school. Still that has given you no comfort. So now you are "seeing the ghost of Caesar in Philippi?". We are still here and we are watching...
