Bawku Naba has got some point right there. I hope honest Christians don't take it as a muslim trying to prevent the existence of a Church. It is also evil to falsely pitch members of a family against one another just to enrich your pocket. By the way, I am a Christian and I am also against those false money conscious prophets in any part of Ghana or Africa.

When will our chiefs learn that we live in a modern Ghana where we have a constitution. A chief has no legal authority to effect a ban on any group or organization. If he has a matter against a church, he can take it to the local governing authority and let them handle it if they find something unlawful being done by any group. In any case, before any action is taken by the authorities, the accused group have the right to defend themselves in court. That is why we have courts. These things must be done legally.

The freedom of Religion or Association is guaranteed by the Constitution and no one individual, a Chief or otherwise, can deprive any citizen of the right to exercise these rights, so Sir, the right action will be for you to seek Govt or Parliamentary legal action! But for partisan politics, Ghana should have followed the footsteps of other nations including Burundi and pass a law to regulate the activities of churches.
In that country, for a church to get the permit to operate, it must prove a membership of 500 and the structure must befit the status of a church as defined in law.
This is one way to bring sanity into the system but Ghana cant do so because any regime that will bring this law is sure to lose the next election.
