Students will open up to these people but not their parents, however close the family unit may be. I'm sure there are lessons to learn through this tragic waste of young and promising life. How much warmth and understanding did she have from her parents, close friends and school authorities? What kind of monitoring did she have? What kind of signs did she exhibit prior to the incidence? What kind of expectations were made of her by her parents and how were such expressed? A young girl studying chemistry was certainly not stupid.

This sad matter must be investigated and some answers found.

In the end, certain things are inevitable. No amount of prayers will prevent them.

Our hearts go out to you and we mourn with you but it's not prayers that are the answers to future occurrences.

My condolences to the family and May her soul rest in peace. We think we know our kids but sometimes we don't, we don't only have to provide our kids financial support. Emotional support is also v important so that parents can see the changes their children might not want to talk about.. this is one area the western world beats us with counselling and l mean proper professional counselling not the 2/4 self made clueless judgemental advisors who call themselves counsellors in Ghana.
