About 8,300 nurses were given financial clearance after going on demos and cursing the Mahama government. So also were hundreds of hospital administrators' given financial clearance...before the elections. My wife, a hardcore NPP member, is one of the administrators to be employed, a graduate who did her national service in a hospital and with the rampant unemployment, and IMF influenced Mahama employment embargo.stayed on there for years on a pittance allowance awaiting financial clearance. She and hundreds were duly interviewed, she got scarce hundreds of cedis from me for a formal office dress for the interview and for printing and binding an internship report as part of the process...AND NOW? I am mad! So also is her best friend, an NPP constituency secretary, who was also on the financial clearance list, who was even at post before my wife there! So, add 8,000 plus to about 2,000 and you get 10,000! At least that I know. I suspect this stop is to allow the government to get jobs for the boys...in order that known NPP boys and girls can be put on the current list or the people like my wife and her friend will stay casuals on very meagre allowances, to be supported further financially by suffering husbands like me, who sacrificed and suffered and paid her fees to get my wife through all those years of university! Approve the genuine financial clearance of the nurses and health workers now and stop playing politics with our lives! Sharp Teeth Okudzeto may have a point there!

There was near pandemonium and confusion at the Annual Global African Investment Forum held in Westminster, Central London after a heated exchange between Ghana’s President John Mahama and former Nigerian President Olusegun Obasanjo degenerated into open insults.This was due to General Obasanjo openly accusing the Ghanaian president and his government of blackmailing and collecting bribes from Nigerian businessmen in Ghana, buying numerous properties in Nigeria and South Africa and financially contributing 12 million dollars to Goodluck Jonathan’s campaign last year. This infuriated President Mahama who lost his temper and pointing his finger, called General Obasanjo an ” idiot” and a “silly buffoon”.It took other ministers present as well as Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni to calm tempers and usher President Mahama to a nearby room. The forum, which takes place from 1st to 3rd December is attended by African Heads of States, Ministers, Private equity firms and investors to discuss opportunities for investment and development in African Economies.

I regretted been a member of NDC when Mahama appointed this stupid idiot call Ablakwa,he just soooo stupid and sometimes ask whether or not he was sent from the devil?see who is talking about job,I work at the party head office for NDC and they promised me permanent job and also help me further my Education but here I am sitting in the house and all they could tell me was that they were paying me 800gh when I was working for them and my contract is over since NDC is not in power again. Foolish NDC.
