All flyovers of this nature would allow it in Europe. Just looking at the position of the truck it jackknifed because it was going too fast and braked. Bad driving full stop!

Under normal circumstances flyovers which are supposed to have fast moving vehicles should not have so much human activity around it. Those considerations should have been factored in when deciding the height of the fence. In any case when is AMA going to decongest the circle area? They need to get rid of the hawkers and even the many pedestrians.

The short fencing is a safety hazard and needs to be fixed. With all the millions that went into the project, height of fencing should have been a big consideration. The metal also looks like some cheap Chinese steel. For now perhaps trailer trucks should be prohibited from the flyover until safety hazards can be remediated.

I have witnessed double axel trucks laden with sand, and articulators loaded with cement and iron rods driven on the Kasoa overpass and I always wondered whether we have people working at the Ministry of Roads and Highways and the department of urban roads in particular. No signs to indicate types of vehicles not allowed on the overpass, and no education whatsoever. These useless officials must be called to sit up, or most of these flyovers will collapse in due course.

Some are so overloaded so much so that the least turn can tip everything over and yet nothing seems to be done by the police. They either take bribes or turn a blind eye........WHAT ON EARTH IS WRONG WITH US???????

Maybe it might not be about driving but lets check and see if the trailer detached itself from the head. I believe there was a detaching along the line that might have caused the accident.

This is the kind of "Dubai" the NDC was touting about; they were showering extravagant praises on John Mahama's fly-over projects, saying none of Ghana's leaders had been able to accomplish such a feat. Now, see what's happening, in just 4 months. I've observed the whole project and I thought it planning and construction wasn't well laid out; everything was done in a whirlwind fashion and the results is what's being reported right now---the project had cost Ghanaians EU75 Million approx. US $79.125 Million or GHc 353.9 Million. That's a lot of waste! The NDC and their bloated contract estimates or bills are now in danger! Everything that was done with bogus intentions should be scrutinized by the new govt led by H.E. Nana Akufo-Addo. Ghanaians want real value for money and won't allow anyone to indulge in any embezzlement against the our nation. NDC are criminals who don't deserve to come anywhere near govt or the presidency; they're thieves and criminals.
