it is many other taxes that are being eliminated not just travel tax

Additionally, this will lead to growth in the domestic aviation/airline market. Economics is not for everyone to understand!

This government is not serious.To abolish taxes on imported spare parts is pure madness and a misguided populist move which will enrich the pockets of spare parts dealers and deprive the state of huge revenue.How is the government going to ensure that consumers will get spare parts cheaper as a result of the abolition of the import taxes on them?Will it lead to reductions in transportation fares?This policy is only going to enrich those in the spare parts business.THE ORDINARY GHANAIAN WILL NOT BENEFIT FROM IT.
