The Kayayei stuff is "henya". After all how much do they contribute, pittance. This is the righting of wronging them for too long. They make less than the threshold of taxable income. So it is smart politics to make it appear gargantuan.
The NDC poor salesmanship is demonstrated in Kasoa interchange project. How many Ghanaians till this day know the scope of the project. All Ghanaians hear is the total cost ascribed to a couple of flyovers. But we know there is more to it than that. The same goes for circle interchange etc.

We are where we are because governments have only tried to please interest groups instead of taking on comprehensive development programmes. What is the big thing about abolishing head porters levy that it should be a major item in a national budget speech. In a civilised country, there are street names and house numbers. In this country we don't have these because taking on such a project is useless because it doesn't put money in people's pocket. And Kwasi Pratt says 'building roads' is useless work. Well, if we think the only useful work a government can do is to please only some interest groups, then the country is going to be backward for a long time.

Former president Mahama's mode of governance was a great departure from the usual THIRD WORLD way of doing POLITICS. He was interested in BUILDING A NATION as against ensuring his political advantage. He sacrificed his party's political future by rejecting the easy way of playing to the gallery, and that FOOLHARDYNESS that unfortunately is alien to African/Ghanaian politics.

On the other hand, Nana Akuffo-Addo is going to be the direct opposite of Mahama' way of governance - "the Akuffo-Addo's way". This current president can be aptly likened to A WOMAN WHO GOES INTO A MARRIAGE with no intention of staying in the marriage for a long time. Such a woman is usually described as the woman who does re-plant the cassava, knowing very well that she was not going to last the NEXT HARVEST SEASON.

Akuffo-Addo, after his long struggle for this position, will be MORE THAN SATISFIED with just one TERM IN OFFICE. Any wonder therefore, the way he is playing to galleries by removing the sources income to build the Nation without showing its sustainability? I pity his successor who will be confronted with how to find ways to carry out these policies when he bows out.

The aftermath of Nana's presidency is going to be very interesting indeed!

The NDC boys and moneydious John Mahama failed to listen to the people and paid the price. Ghanaians are happy with the budget of Akufo Addo, this is what budgets are expected are suppose to do. NDC spent their time on over-inflated unfrastructure projects so they can receive kick backs from those projects. What a Shame NDC.

He even advised hospitals to prepare to receive NPP men in thier emergency rooms because a lot of npp men will be sent to emergency rooms due to shocks after the polls because Ghanaians will vote massively for Ndc due their good works.

If MTN will 6 classroom with better facilities at the cost GhC100,000 including the land and Mahama and NDC will build the same 6 classroom with poor quality work at the cost of GhC300,000. The 2 schools were built in the same year. And you call this development projects? This purely stealing. People cannot pay their light bill and their children school fees and you term this development? A good government will always ensure that his people live freely. Policies should make people feel comfortable. Look at Nkrumah interchange, poor work done now state is going to spend another money to construct drainage, why?

Here is someone who continually touted the achievements of the NDC and predicted doom for the NPP and even said most NPP top officials will have heart attack. Today the same person is saying these about the NDC? This is clearly what distinguishes Pratt from Kwak Baako. The conscience of these two are simply incomparable.
