The vision is the political philosophy of the government. It paints the direction and the destination the government wants to take us. The budget presented by Ken Ofori Atta has just accomplished that. It is about time okro mouths and half-baked journalists like Mister Too-Know Kwesi Peteh (vulture) sit back and chill and let the experts do their work. Aside Christianity, no other religion refers to Jesus so the opening phrase in Ghana's national anthem fits into all religions except if Jesus had been used in place of God. I'm an objective christian who tolerates diversity of opinion and so not trying to cast a spell on your integrity but to share in same my view. No verse!!

You see, what we often forget is that secularism itself is a worldview, a philosophy, a belief system and effect a secular religion. Why should the so called secularist be allowed in the public square and all others excluded?

In every society people believe differently but the belief of the majority that prevails. So those who want Christians to keep their faith to themselves must also keep their secular religion to themselves. Your faith sums up your overall view about the world and it determinus your way of life. If there is freedom of speech and religion no one can force me to keep my faith under my pillow. Everyone has the right to share and express his faith everywhere he wants. The secularist, the Hindu, the Christian and even the Muslim. Why not. You may hate Christ but you will meet him one day. However, givetbace and education are two most problematic areas of human in envention.
We open parliament session with prayer and ignaugurate the new government with prayers to God.
But Ken was not praying but quoting the Lord Jesus as a historical figure just as one might quote Karl Marx or as President Akuffo Addo quoted American presidential speeches during his ignaugural address.
Here lies the difference the analogy is okay but to project his faith into the presentation is troubling in a secular institution.
Yes Ken can declare his faith even in parliament because that his moral root.
He cannot endorse the Christian religion as a state religion.
Governance is full of contradictions.
Let's move on for the good of humanity. Call Pratt names in defense of Christianity makes the religion of the Christian faith anti-Christ.

Pratt Akwasi just like his NDC comrades cannot seem to comprehend the level of absolute intelligence and competence the NPP is bringing to the administration of this country a sample of which has been demonstrated in the budget, and the heat in his head is causing him to utter gibberish.
He should tell us what in the budget will prevent the economy which Mahama left at about 3.5 or so percent from growing and what his dumbed down party proposes, instead of this attempt to runaway from the intelligent document laid before the august House to move Ghana forward by the NPP govt of intelligence.
And if he can't just as all his NDC comrades have shown, and this is what he wants to engage in, the national theater is there for him to go and crack such jokes. And it is recommended he does that.
