Kintampo and environs had a very successful Yam Festival this year and money is flowing waa waa.

In the cocoa producing areas this comes with a lot of new marriages where the guys add one or two new wives to the harem.

In the Kintampo areas the celebrations are slightly different. They buy bullets and have their own version of Hunger Games or 'Jack Where Are You'?. Shooting each other for fun until they run out of bullets.

This is just people in e celebratory mood. Nothing that serious!

You have been caught for illegal logging and you have gone to bring AK47's, G3's which is actually ammunition handled by the security agencies to cause mayhem.
How did the Masawud clan get the G3's? Is there a licensed arms dealer who sells G3's in this country to civilians?
Hon. Ambrose Dery must get on this fast and follow it wherever it may lead. Because it seems some members of our society who were primed and supplied with ammunition for whatever reason in the lead up to the 2016 elections, don't know what time it is.

This spells trouble as wherever these people find themselves,misunderstandings as simple as good morning mistakenly said in the afternoon leads to gun and machetes fights. Before I go,what are Ak47s and G3s doing in a mere town in Kintampo? If so then there are huge arsenals and weapons deports in Kumasi and Accra only waiting to be unleashed on innocent people at the least provocation. The police and army should start serious mop up in this dirty town as known faces who carried these weapons should be arrested along with their weapons.
