Kwesi Pratt Jnr. has hit hard at the erstwhile National Democratic Congress (NDC) government, claiming they did a "useless work". Kwesi Pratt explained that one of the factors that led to the NDC's defeat in the 2016 elections was because the government failed to bring relief to Ghanaians in their budget statements. According to him, the erstwhile Mahama administration was supposed to read a budget that would have a direct influence on the citizens but rather made a lot of "useless" interventions that didn't benefit the population.

Who told these politicians that dividing regions bring about development? Even common constituencies that were created have not been resourced. Is it the buying of more SUVs that matters to them? Or more people to be called honorables? Volta region is currently one of the smallest regions in Ghana. How come it is not developed, compared to Ashanti region? This idea is so dumb. It will bring nothing but waste of resources and division. It should be looked at again.

Why tamper with other regions but leave Ashanti, the largest region, alone? This is called gerrymandering! And I am sure NPP's main objective is to break up Volta Region. Every other thing is to dress it up. Evil NPP.

An ugly and needless ideas.Who told the Minister that, creating extra Regions will bring Social Economic Development!.Creating a new Region is non of the aspirations of the people, except for the reasons know to very few greedy litigant persons. Creating of more Regions equally create more burden on Taxpayers Fund to resource those new Regions.And who said GNPC Head office alone can revive the twin city when transferred would revive Ghana!.And the transfer is even not necesary,if the present H/Q building in Accra,is not a leasehold. Chiefs should not buy this Juvenile and empty rhetorics to support the move to create more Regions.Who said creating new Regions is an achievement?.Non performance PhD,indeed.

Why not dividing Ashianti region which is the biggest. After taking Volta land around Atimpoku, Akosombo down to Anum, because the of the Dam and added it to Eastern region, you are targeting another place again.
