What is the motivation behind Mahama and Nana's free SHS programmes. As for Mahama he wanted something to please Ghanaians in order to win elections at all cost. As for Nana, his vision is that no student should be denied access to SHS because of lack of money. This is what the NPP has been championing since, they believe, a lot of BECE holders are qualified but due to lack of money they have not been able to enroll in SHS. This is the problem the free SHS is intended to tackle and so if Nana has started with first year students it is in line with NPP manifesto. After all second and third year SHS students have had access to SHS because their parents could afford it, which is why they are already there. Those who were qualified but could not go to SHS, and are at home, still have opportunities to reapply to enjoy Nana's free SHS. Nana’s free SHS, unlike that of Mahama, is verifiable, transparent and predictable. For instance, one can easily assess the success of Nana’s Free SHS by going straight to any secondary school to count the number of students in SHS 1. On the contrary, that of Mahama is shrouded in secrecy and the implementation is done at the pleasure of Mahama and his wife.

Ajjettey and Atsikpo were a role models who stood up against the pale skinned colonialists and paid with their lives, and that started a riot which led to boycotts of all pale skinned colonialists' stores that sped up the courage for the independence movement that Nkrumah has exploited but for the love of the pale skinned, the elites do not want Ghanaians to learn the bravery of these gallant men in order to stand up against abusive foreigners (Arabs Koreans Indians and Europeans).
And for these reasons, they had refused to properly honor these men.

Museum for what? Even the Kwame Nkrumah Masoleum that should be the most extensive Museuam for a Head of State is just in its mediocre State.

The Osu Castle should be preserved ...

Museum for what? Even the Kwame Nkrumah Masoleum that should be the most extensive Museuam for a Head of State is just in its mediocre State.

The Osu Castle should be preserved for the memory of the thousands of Slaves from Akwamu who were sold by the Danish and ended up in the British and American Virgin Islands.

Its should be brought under the control of UNESCO to protect and preserve its history.

I do not trust Ghanaians to maintain any heritage such as this. Very soon it would be turned into a fightiing tuff for the foolishness of NPP and NDC.

We have over 43 SLave Castles on our Coast. The only ones that have survived is the Elmina Castle simple because it was under the supervision of UNESCO. The other one is Christianborg Osu Castle because it was the seat of government.

The other 41 Castles including the Fredrick Castle in Takoradi where the first Black Professor in Germany, Professor Amo was taken as a child in 1786 and adopted by a German Aristocrat Count Hilberger (???) and became the first Black Philosopher in a German University is buried is even lying in ruins.

In 10yrs time Osu Castle under the control of the Government would be in ruins like the others. Where is our National Museum. It doesn't exist.

Seek the help of UNESCO/Danish Government and the American Virgin Islanders to support and preserve this Museum. Otherwise like everything Ghanaians it is soon destined for the rubbish bin!
