This is a sketch and not "The story of Ghana: 60 years of greatness as a sporting nation" The proper story must be written in sequential order to include details of each period. What about Floyd Robertson? What about D.K.Poison? What about other players - dead or alive? Baba Yara? Aggrey Fynn? John Naawu? Robert Mensah, Osei Kofi etc, What about the athletes? Mike Ahey? The Table Tennis medalists etc? Again, the grammar must reflect our attention to, and emphasis on good English.

  Thomas Nkono played for Espanyol after the 82 world cup until his retirement and served as their goalie trainer for severalyears. He did great things in europe and even Buffon (the Italian goalie, if you don't know him) had to switch his position from defender to goalie because of Nkono. Can you stop the nonsense about Abedi Pele? Abedi is good, but only attached personal glory and was super selfish when he played for the Ghana National Team. Watch some of his games for the Black Stars on Youtube to find out what I am saying.

The "miracle of el wak " match was between Hearts of oak and Mufulira wanderers of Zambia in 1977 not Haifa club of Guinea. Hearts met Haifa after beating mufulira wanderers and lost to Haifa in the finals that year. Revenge came in 1979 when hearts of oak beat Haifa 3-0 in Accra after going down 2-0 in Conakry. Check your history.
