  No fact in that speech was twisted. Kwame the over ambitious Nkrumah was brought in by the UGCC and that fact of history cannot be wished away. Nkrumah cannot be referred to as the founder of GH.

  Whether Nkrumah was the founder of Ghana or not, it does not put food on anybody's table. I urge every one to endeavour to found himself. That will definitely put food on your table.

How can a so-called freedom cause us to idle around and sleep. We should rather scrap some of these holidays that takes a sizeable amount of our time which we could otherwise use to do meaningful work.

  Nkrumah an nzema knows that even better than the usurper Danquah. Go to Nzema they have the most verifiable oral history of their journey from Gana to Walata (during the MAli empire) etc to Bono and to their present settlement in nzemaa.
  
  In my life I have never head that a founder of something has to be necessarily the one who did everything without no ones help (pathetic reasoning of yours doesn't hold).

If you cannot tolerate divergent views you have no business practicing it. Yes in South Africa, Mandela didn't start the struggle against apartheid or white rule neither was he alone in the struggle but he is credited as the man responsible for the abolishing of apartheid and white minority rule. Same with George Washington of USA. He was not alone in the struggle against colonialism yet he is credited with the father of the nation. So in every nation even though there might be several people committed to a cause yet one becomes the icon or face of that cause. Kwame Nkrumah is the face of Ghana's Independence, take it or leave it. Akuffo Addo cannot rewrite history. If fact it will be one of his Waterloo if attempt it.

Yes, the CPP headed by Mr. Nkrumah won the elections and power to rule Ghana was handed over to him and his colleagues. My question is: had the UP won the elections, was that party's leader going to be called the founder of Ghana? The whole process should be likened to a referee tossing a coin to determine which of the opposing teams to choose which side of the field they will defend first. The whole idea of one person being named as the founder of Ghana is a sham. Even Mandela and Mugabe were not considered as founders of their respective countries after independence,
