  When Ghanaians call the consulate please pickup. Ghanaian embassies and consulates abroad have a very very bad reputation for not picking up calls. I called DC about 20 times last year, and nobody in that office picked up the ...

  When Ghanaians call the consulate please pickup. Ghanaian embassies and consulates abroad have a very very bad reputation for not picking up calls. I called DC about 20 times last year, and nobody in that office picked up the calls. The calls went to voicemail, and after leaving behind several messages nobody returned my calls. They also do not reply emails either. I am surprised they have such a bad customer service even in a foreign land, such a bad representation of Ghana.

  I am amazed at how African countries, especially Ghana, appoint individuals to this office of honorary consul. Ghana has so many very well placed Ghanaians, with years of experience in the United States. Why is it that the government of Ghana does not appoint a Ghanaian but accepts individuals who show up the the embassy or travels to Ghana to express interests. So Ghana is counting on this gentleman from Arkansas to bring investors to Ghana? Investors from what planet? Is the government of Ghana aware that the honorary consul in Houston charges an extra fee of $100 for visa issued, so he can run his office. One honorary consul charges $10,000 - $30,000 to introduce business people to Ghana. Please so called leaders in Ghana sit up?
