Yes he tried but was not good enough.Simple.There is no need to insult the man or disrespect him in any way.But we will not pretend that he did great when we all know that he flopped.

you are right. kwesi appiah did not fly every 2 days to see a player yet he put together a good team. you flew every 2 days but yet you were only able to call up players who were either injured or warming benches.

Every single head coach we've had, all we do is trash and criticize them. Ratomir Dujkovic was always harassed, and even chose not to resign with Ghana after taking them to the knockout stage in the 2006 World Cup. Milovan Rajevec was criticized for being a 1 goal project, but led Ghana to their best World Cup finish. Kwesi Appiah, who is soft spoken and at times questionable, had I think the best crop of players for the 2014 World Cup, and he couldn't stand up to the GFA when the forced him to take Kevin Prince Boateng. That lead to his sacking.

Can't leaders see the trend?!?! It is not WHO you hire, but it is the environment you bring them into. You cannot blame the coach for everything! That's just crazy.
Ghana can hire Jurgen Klopp, and he will not do well in Ghana despite his pedigree.

Avram Grant is garbage and this is coming from a Chelsea fan.
Really what progress has black stars made since Grant took over. Ghana couldn't even beat Canada. Grant is a lazy coach with very poor work ethics.
