The process is usually consultative and never dictatorial. Akuffo Addo, our President, has the right to propose on the basis of his expectations and his knowledge of the candidate. But it is equally important for the candidate to ounter-propose on the basis of the the President's expectations and, above all, on the basis of his own capabilities and interests because he knows himself best. It is only from such a dialogue that the President can make a judicious appointment.
Dr. Bokor should realize that Ghana is not America where the mentally-challenged (and autistic)President repeatedly makes wrong and embarrassing decisions without dialogue, without consultation, and without thinking first.

Even those of us with only a bachelor's degree, given the oppurtunity and influence he has, would have given a more holistic view point on evidence-based performance and actions.
