That is their job and they will gladly go to jail for six months and come back to repeat the offence. In the mean time, somebody has probably been killed somewhere in their evil operations by these evil men and women.

You should find out what the charge against the accused persons is before you conclude because clearly this reportage is inaccurate. The district court doesn't try robbery so the charge may be stealing and not robbery. Also t ...

You should find out what the charge against the accused persons is before you conclude because clearly this reportage is inaccurate. The district court doesn't try robbery so the charge may be stealing and not robbery. Also the district court cannot sentence an accused over 2 years. And there might be reasons for the 6 months and a fine for each of them. The media didn't report accurately.

In my local opinion, the judge was toooo lenient, the fact that three people conspired to randomly kidnap and rob innocent fare paying passengers, their sentences should not be less than for those who stole a chicken.
