I personally find it hard to understand the logic behind these inter-region transfers.I know for sure it is not designed to slow down the police taking bribes. Yes they can be transferred but not as and when we change government. Someone was sent to a place four months ago and he has been moved again. Transfers of officers also brings a huge financial burden to the nation since their salaries have to be doubled in a month as a transfer grant. Being a an igp doesn't only mean you do transfers .
