Much as we all mourn the death of innocent comrade, we should be objective in passing blame for such unfortunate events. It is normal police work to stop unregistered vehicles and check their documents. The same public will blame the police if this unregistered vehicle was used to commit a crime. What about the vehicle whose brakes were said to have failed? Brakes can fail on any vehicle but proper maintenance can greatly reduce the numbers.
