There was near pandemonium and confusion at the Annual Global African Investment Forum held in Westminster, Central London after a heated exchange between Ghana’s President John Mahama and former Nigerian President Olusegun Obasanjo degenerated into open insults.This was due to General Obasanjo openly accusing the Ghanaian president and his government of blackmailing and collecting bribes from Nigerian businessmen in Ghana, buying numerous properties in Nigeria and South Africa and financially contributing 12 million dollars to Goodluck Jonathan’s campaign last year. This infuriated President Mahama who lost his temper and pointing his finger, called General Obasanjo an ” idiot” and a “silly buffoon”.It took other ministers present as well as Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni to calm tempers and usher President Mahama to a nearby room. The forum, which takes place from 1st to 3rd December is attended by African Heads of States, Ministers, Private equity firms and investors to discuss opportunities for investment and development in African Economies.

Please Mr former Deputy Minister, know that NDC delegates are not the entire Ghana so they endorsing Mahama does not make him the winner of 2020. Better concentrate on a total reorganization of the grassroot who are more than the delegates to support whoever contests on the ticket of the NDC in 2020. That way other non-NDC Ghanaians may be sympathetic to vote per the renewed strength in the party. Meanwhile , if you slow down a bit on your speeches because its too early, especially those against the clergy and the new government. This time let them make the mistakes and capitalize on it other than you putting up the same talking strategy that sent your party out of power. God less

Ask the chief architect of the NDC electoral rigging game plan Asiedu Nketia, and the true number of the NDC card bearing members he was able to capture when he embarked on his biometric registration of the NDC membership last year. He barely registered 2 million voters and how were you able to obtain the 5 million plus numbers that enabled you to win the 2008 the 2012 elections? so are you telling me that the 3 million difference are all swing and undecided voters?
