  Moyo, you need to add the words 'alone' or 'single-handedly' when describing Nkrumah's struggle for our independence. Thus, Kwame Nkrumah single handedly won us our independence, 'wajiffatu sufuk' (the ink has dried up). In other words, full stop (nothing can change in the writings). And Koobaah, don't describe those who were against Kwame Nkrumah on our independence as just criminals, because they are not. They are TERRORISTS. Kwame Nkrumah chose to JUST imprison them because he was a cool, kind and soft hearted person. He should have burned them alive. This is the reason sometimes I admire Rawlings a bit - he knows what they need and deserve.   The long and short of it is that tribal loyalties and tribal hold on us will never allow true development to come to Ghana when a presumed UK-educated and president of Ghana, Nana Akufo-Addo, could stoop to gutter level to spew tribal inspired crap at a time decency and reflection was required to prevail. The haters of Ghana has the corner market on foolishness and tend to feed off the ignorance of their brain dead foot soldiers nothing will stop anyone of that ilk from knowing when it is appropriate to indulge in political exuberance and when to act as statemen.
  
  The fact that a Nana Akufo-Addo appointee would dare say that the president did not promise to trim the size of government at a time in Ghana when the government cannot pay civil servants on time, cannot pay its utility bills on time and has to borrow money to keep government essentials afloat show how deep ignorance rules in Ghana. To allow that kind of ignorance to permeate every aspect of the Ghanaian society is surprising since flag waving NPP party members are delusional enough to believe it is the party of intellectuals. The only way Ghana can shake itself from the slave shackles still holding firm on our individual and collective thinking faculties is when we let go the tribal foolishness that continue to hold sway on even our presumed best minds.

  Nkrumah contributed 50% of the effort? Are you kidding me! Kwame Nkrumah single handedly founded Ghana (100% of all the effort). We all know that some people started it and called him to come and join them. But when he took over the mantle those people turned against him and against independence. So Kwame Nkrumah on his way to gaining us our independence was not just fighting on one front but two - on one front he was fighting against the colonial masters and on the other he was fighting against some local terrorists. And today a descendant of these terrorists wants to turn history upside down. How dare!
