IT'S ORIGIN IN MODERN POLITICAL USAGE IS AMERICAN, AS IN DONALD RUMSFELD BEING A HAWK IN PUSHING FOR A POSITION CALLING FOR WAR IN IRAQ. SECONDLY, AKUFFO ADDO DOESN'T SEEM TO HAVE HAD ISSUES WITH APPOINTMENTS. SO FAR, HE'S BRILLIANTLY FIELDED KEY POSITIONS & PERSONS. INTERNAL WRANGLING IS COMMON IN AFRICAN POLITICAL CULTURE, NIGERIA BEING WORSE THAN GHANA. I'M NOT THE ONE WHO FIRST INTRODUCED THE TERM BUT THE SUGGESTION OF INFIGHTING FOR POSTS CANNOT BE LABELLED AS HAWKISH. BUT THOSE PUSHING FOR PROSECUTION OF WOYOME, IBRAHIM MAHAMA, OPUNI & LORDINA MAY RIGHTFULLY BE CALLED HAWKS. OTHERS WHO SUPPORT A MORE PEACEFUL APPROACH ARE CALLED DOVES. Now we have 110 ministers and yet to know which of them are cabinet ministers. And still, more appointments are on the way. I wonder why some of their men are defending what is indefensible. We are yet to see the worst. This deceitful government will kill us.

NADAA government , the most useless so far in Ghana history,,... for God´s sakes 110 ministers. Can you imagine that the appoint for some of the ministers is a retirement package. Some of them are already clocking 70 years so they need to be in government to make money for retirement. so they are all scrambling to be made ministers.

The struggle for government jobs and position is a reflection that private sector jobs lacking. Also, good postion in government is graced with favour for government contracts and commissions.
Unless, you have independent undercover agents like the FBI in US, expose and put them in jail, Ghana treasury will always be broke. Government contracts are over inflated and the jobs poorly executed and this how wealth is gained in Ghana , under the umbrella of elected and appointed official.
Solution, get external help for undercover and tracking of money. Else only 20% of the wealth will go Ghanaians and 80% to government officials and their clones.
