According to a story attributed to the NDC MP for Asunafo South district, the NPP plagiarized the NDC’s 2016 budget. In his statement " Paragraph 273 of the 2017 budget says principally that the government has allocated GH¢2.04 million for the procurement of five million improved coffee planting seedlings for free distribution to coffee farmers while in the 2016 budget, paragraph 405 also talked about government allocating GH¢2.0 million for the procurement of two million improved coffee planting seedlings for free distribution to coffee farmers."
Now divide NPP's GHC2.04 Million by 5 million seedlings and the answer is GHC 0.40 per coffee seedling. Then divide NDC's GHC 2,0 Million by 2 Million seedlings and the answer is GHC 1.00 per coffee seedling. Now the question is, Who is stealing from who. I don't really know the university that trained these NDC guys. Universities in Ghana are indeed useless.

Those people are powerful in the functions they are appointed to serve the State. Those Executive Directors are in addition to the Commissioners and Secretaries. They are not called Ministers but act like one in their various areas.

Why? because if the government made us believe that we don't have enough money to turn the economy around as a result of mismanagement by the previous administration, the common sense approach is to cut down the number of your appointees. But this was the opposite which means that there is enough money there for them to enjoy at the expense of the ordinary Ghanaians. Just take a look at the Joynews documentary titled ' NEST TO DIE' where our pregnant mothers are dying in the course of delivery for lack of just few money to keep the hospital running. Reference to their salaries abovabove

Even Nigeria with their profligacy and carelessness, with a population of over 170 million and GDP of over 400 billion dollars, has only 36. Let's call a space, a spade, and stop this hypocricy of making excuses for what is openly and blatantly wrong. Our elders and intellectuals are proving to be nothing but dishonest sycophants. I wonder how they would have reacted if it were Mahama that made these appointments. Shame unto them.

I think with the bold initiatives the current government had lined up to pursue needs more overseers to make it happen. Those initiatives cannot be properly manage if they go into wrong and inexperience hands. The remuneration of these additional ministers and their subordinates are meager money comparing with monies that go into drains.

We have not see appointments of this sort before and why cant we give it a try? You can run the country with 40 ministers yet corruption and other financial malpractices will make the country get broke whilst 200 dedicated ministers and their subordinates may make a great beneficial change. Be patience with the President for the time been. E&OE.
