Such amazing idiots! Coral reefs don't exist as deep as 400m and which tourists are going to be able to go that deep? Even saturation divers will struggle with that depth. Ignorance is worse than AIDS!

Some may exist in deep seas, but that is to a small extent. Like you said, most are in shallow waters along the coast.

This one is too deep in the sea for popular tourism. Develop the huge Densu estuary first before it is covered with houses.

The main aim of the baseline studies is to gather parameters that tell the state of the environment prior to oil exploitation. This will serve as a guideline for monitoring of the environment after commencement of oil exploitation and production activities to determine whether or not the environment is being polluted. No mention of the results is made n the reportage, instead the reportage is the on a supposed coral reef which was found by accident. Interestingly, the reportage is silent on whether or not it it's a thriving reef or one which is in decline. Talk about misplaced priorities...so typical of Ghana
