The setting up of the committee was in the first place irrelevant, so too opening up the vacant coaching job to the outside world. The latter in particular makes the process of finally selecting the coach unnecessarily bureaucratic, a waste of time. What the GFA should have done was to headhunt for the new coach and eventually make the choice based on that.
