GES Officials must pay regular visits to our schools to see for themselves what passes for education in certain schools.Teachers show up whenever they feel like it and leave their classrooms unsupervised to attend to their personal affairs.Some of these schools have hazardous conditions which are left unresolved for years or until an accidentfrom it forces them to.Some Headteachers and teachers have resorted to suplimenting their income with unauthorized extra fees levied at parents.If Ghana Education Service Officials started showing up unannounced to "observe"school activities,Headteachers and Teachers would be compelled to start doing the right things for a change.

We are sick and of this annual empty threats. Majority of primary school pupils can't and write the English language and the local language. U sit up there in air conditions and always threaten headmasters. Shame on you GES

Do something about the grading system which denies any person with D an opportunity to tertiary education .how can one gets A's and B's and a D and that person is denied tertiary education ...pls do something abt it

Dear Saint GES is right. Allow the students to write the exams first, deal with them later. The only problem here is that bad students who eventually fail the exams will decide not to pay at all. What is the use in paying to ...

These same headmasters are dragged to public accts committee to explain why students don't pay school fees and PAC puts the blame on the headmasters. Its absurd.

Please,G.E.S should come clean,because most students will never come for their results if he /she realizes that the school results aren't good.Some even travel outside the country before the exams results are released.Some of them will never come back to school after registering.Again,what about those who will stay in school alright,fed and refuse to pay school fees?.Where is the school going to get money to feed the rest of the students?.My question is where are the headmasters going to get money to feed the the rest of the students?.Are the auditors going to accept their explanation?.Or they will be hauled to the public accounts committee of parliament to explain why students failed to pay school fees?.Please,G.E.S come again.This is just a purely politics.G.E S if this is what you are going,then,never ever query any headmaster /headmistress for failing to collect school fees.Period

If a student is found guilty of vandalising government property, he cannot be allowed to write the exams. In fact such student should be sent to prison. He can only come back to continue his education after serving the punish ...

I want ask ges the reason why final years of shs are paying third term fees in full whiles they will end their papers 11th may,which is exactly 29days after second term fees.This means that,boarders are paying almost GHC 400 ...

I want ask ges the reason why final years of shs are paying third term fees in full whiles they will end their papers 11th may,which is exactly 29days after second term fees.This means that,boarders are paying almost GHC 400 for feeding which is too much.Let do some small calculations,if feeding fee per day is GHC 4.80 and student will leave the shcool 15th may which is 32day.so 32×4.8 which is GHC153.60p.so why are paying full thid term fees which is almost GHC 536 and now some are been sack from for the money

The GES should be more serious with these heads.The headmistress of OLA Girls in Ho has decided to send all final years home for their 3rd term fees whereas the bills for the third term were given out on the same day.Many of the students will leave just after a month but parents have been slapped with a bill of 570ghc
