Ghana referees have done this several times at home and has taken this outside Ghana.Referee Joseph lamptey went to South Africa and disgrace himself so openly by way of high class poor officiating.
All of them taken bribes , some are outing bribes money in their socks.
Go to centers that their pitches are not well protected worse things happens there.At our lower divisions a lot if robbing going out there. This cancer has been in our syst8 for long and the FA. must call themself to other and save our game.
If care is not taking many of our referees will meet their untimely death.
REFEREE SUKAH shouldn't have gisgraced himself so openly like that becau5 he was closed to the seen .he saw the ball hitting the back of the defender. He must remember out of life we make wealth not out of wealth we make life.

As an Elmina Sharks supporter, I stand neutral on this matter.

I have watched the Ghanaweb video over and over again and I believe it was wrong by the ref to give a penalty for this.

Try freezing the moment of impact of the ball on the Kotoko player on the Ghanaweb video. It clearly hits the backside. The ref did not hesitate at all to point to the spot. (pre-meditated, abi?).

However, let's take it that the ball had hit his hand with his back turned....... that would be deemed as an unintentional act in the EPL and many other European leagues.....and I'm sure those who watch them would attest to that.

This was an issue of bad officiating on the part of Ref Suker. It's a real shame!

And the other shame is the Kotoko fans throwing stuff at the ref. That must be stopped at once!!!
It's a sad reflection of the society we live in today.
