this party from its UP days was made primarily of Gas. the main co founders were Gas. but since Gas are a minority and the Akans outnumber us they have crowded us and kicked us to the curb. it was a big mistake to ally ourselves with Akans who have sidelined us and and now buddy budy with norhternrs who play part inthe formation of the NPP party and the even the struggle for this independence. We should have just fomed an allience with our Dangme brothers to form our own political party of people of Accra. now thee NPP picked vice/running mates not based on merit but based onwhter the person is bfrom the north. NPP was formed primarily by Gas read your history
