Dr Abu-Bonsrah represents all people of African descent. As a US citizen, she is part of the African-American community. She is also naturally a continental African because she was born in Ghana, a black woman and above all an accomplished medical doctor about to start her career in neuro-surgery. She represents all of Africa - continent and diaspora(North,South and Central America, and the Caribbean). Even her last name does not satisfy your narrow-minded, tribally-limited vision.

Many a Ghanaian have passed through that institution and it is especially wonderful to hear of another Ghanaian, African, American and the first black woman to be accepted to this program at John Hopkins.
It is no mean achievement and it is the sign of good things to come as you shoulder this responsibility as a trailblazer.
May you find success, may you experience the grace of gifted hands, and may you be a blessing unto others and bring smiles, hope and healing to the faces of those who come into contact with you in the course of your career. Ashantis re doing great things around the globe . Nancy Abu bonsrah was my mate at school during her teenage days in Ghana . She was not all that extra ordinary but thank God her exodus to the paradise country (USA) has positioned her at the pinnacle of life. Now she is at the apex of her career in which most trained doctors ( old ) at korle- bu and Kath re struggling to achieve. Most people will wonder why average Ghana child pick up so quick wen they get the chance to study abroad than locally . Yes , it will inure to the facts that our system is not well structured and most of the syllabus should be reviewed to bench mark with the foreign style of teaching . The kids should access to sophisticated learning materials to enhance their intelligence quotient . The free senior secondary education ( SHS) should not be left unchecked by educationist but rather monthly reviews should be conducted to maintain it standard . The good citizens have some behavioral attitude that depicts across facets of the country . " anything for the governrment is not well cherished and is always mishandled" . That awkward buffoonery and unadulterated vissicitude must come into halt . Is unacceptable and uncouth . Above all, the government with peripheral ministries should build capacity of teachers ( to handle the system of free SHS) since the ministry should not accept neophytes as an excuse .
