Ghanaian soldiers have never been in any war since its inception therefore all they do is to go war with the armless civilians. Shame unto Ghana military. Whiles your counterparts are fighting ISIS and alqaeda, you are fighting journalists.

Major Oduro's comments were palpable lies. Who in Ghana doesn't know Ghana soldiers maltreat civilians always. It happened at Kamina barracks last year and nothing was heard about this. Just about tree weeks ago it happened in Sekondi Takoradi. Most Ghanaian soldiers are not disciplined. Ihey do not protect civilians but torture them on the least misunderstanding. I thought as am MP, he has grown up but he was defending the criminal soldiers. Does he mean if you have an argument with soldiers they should torture you? He did not make any sense. How many of the soldiers have gone to war before? They just scare people because they have guns/ They are needed to fight armed robbers and Fula herdsmen. Can they fight even Boko haram? I am ashamed for the major. Those soldiers need to be found out and put to trial and finally imprisoned and sacked.

This major behaved on National TV as if he is above the law. He was rude to the victim and tried to defend the military who brutalized the guy. I have never seen an officer that rude on national TV. Akuffo Addo should let him go. 37 years in the military and you behave that foolishly on National TV? What a disgrace.
