Just like those with evil powers scheme and fight against the fortunes of people especially in their family, Kwame Baffoe said the sceptics mostly members of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) are even worst. John Mahama, Koku Anyidoho, Omane Boamah, Ofosu Kwakye, Asiedu Nketia, Kofi Adams, Portuphy, the whole NDC party apparatus ie the gov't, party and supporters were engaged in what is called deflection and projection on the very, very deep divisions in that party.
Every astute politician and pundit knew this basic fact. It is a common feature of multiparty democracy-divergent opinions and thinking. So you don't do politics with it. NPP knew this about the fierce divisiveness of Mahama and the divisions in the NDC but we didn't consider it as good politics.
So instead of that NDC party confronting their issues as it got worse by the minute, they were deflecting and projecting the horrors going on in there, like a raging uncontrollable inferno, on the NPP even going to the extent of co-opting some, in the NPP to execute this agenda. Ghanaians witnessed the extent Mahama was prepared to go in perpetuating his divisive agenda which had now moved beyond that their NDC party and assumed a national religious and ethnic dimension, in the infamous Bugri Naabu-gate scandal where all manner of goodies, bribes and promises were given to Daniel Bugri Naabu a true patriot, an honest, upright, patriot of conviction, loyalty, strength, principles and valor, to crucify Nana Akufo Addo based on a falsity, which was exposed in the twilight of Mahama's heavy and massive loss which was approaching like a hurricane.
It failed so magnificently and before the NDC and Mahama could say jack, his grand hefty defeat had touched down and it was all over, which is the most greatest thing to everify happened to Ghana since the coming into force of the 1992 Constitution.
