Appiah's appointment when clearly he is not the best candidate will be tribalism gone stupid. This cannot continue. Let the Akan regions go their separate way and let Accra, Volta and the Northerners form their separate country. With negotiations property can be shared and divided as the case may be just like the Czechs and Slovaks did. Is Abdul Razak a Ghanaian ? Why is there a call for Ghanaian coach all of a sudden rather than the most competent coach ? I am not prepared to be second class citizen as an Ewe man. If Kwesi Appiah was called Seth Tamakloe he wouldn't get a second chance. We can separate like in Yugoslavia.

My only problem with this coach for the Black Stars job is that he wasn't able to instill discipline in the boys the first time around. This time around, if you get the job, please be in charge.

Discipline does involve benching you best players during a serious game and bringing them back only when you realized you were losing . Appiah that was tactless and for that I am unsure about bringing u back Sir

Please if you want to blame somebody for the world cup fiasco, blame the then government which didn't pay the players on time. They killed the morale of the players. Don't blame the coach he had no control over the payment.

We all pray for the appointment of a local coach for our national team-the BLACK STARS. But if we don't have a qualified local coach at present, I think we can still wait for the right time, may -be in future, God will have mercy on us and provide us a qualified and experienced local coach, who can command respect among the players ( especially the foreign- based ones ) and also be tactically up to the task of capturing the Afcon trophy and leading the Black Stars to greater heights. Unfortunately, appointing Kwasi Appiah will be another disaster for Ghana. I like him personally, but, let's call a spade a spade; Kwasi Appiah is not up to the task,PERIOD.

Avoid the experiments of the past whereby after every two years you come to tell Ghanaians "WE'RE SORRY WE MADE MISTAKES". Enough of that from GFA, Coach, Captain, Individual players etc. Appiah is too soft for the job. He tried it and his best did not win a Cup. His boys are waning away. Does he have the courage to put Asamoah Gyan on the bench? Or Jordan when they are not in form or on injury list? Do Ghanaians eat their own vomit? The true measure of a coach is 90% what he knows about the job and 10% how he inspires the players to perform on the field. Does Kwesi Appiah have what it takes? Many of the Black star players wish to be included in the national team not for the money but for the prestige or cloud it gives them in their chosen profession. Once they are chosen, they berate the Ghanaian coach who makes less than they make. They become arrogant and disrespectful, criticizing the coach if he tries to asserts his authority. If the coach accepts any gift from them through the back door, then he loses his influence. A selected Ghanaian coach should not be a puppet od anyone especially to Nyantekyi or the assistant coaches who collect gifts or favors from the players to get playtime or try to influence the head coach's decision. Kwesi Appiah is not what Ghana needs at this time but GFA should hire Dessailly and give him all he needs to have a parallel national team called the Republicans. Let the best team represent Ghana as the national team. When there is tough competition to justify one's inclusion, we will have the best of the best to represent Ghana.
