  The donation was not the personal property of the director but part of birds mattresses donated by the government last year which is left outside at the mercy of the weather at the education directorate in Tamale

  Oh how sad. I hope final year students are supported generously and quickly so as not to affect exams performance.

  The Regional Director has not done anything useful. What the students need now is counselling while arrangements are made for the building to be repaired. The students need books and clothing. Are they going to sleep under trees with the mattress. He should mobilise funds to support the Pta to renovate the building immediately. The school should be closed down for three months. The Regional Director is not serious.

  It is so unfortunate such a tragedy should hit the school. The Regional Director Of Education, Alhaji Harun Cambodia has done extremely well by giving the support to the school to enable it cope with the situation. Bravo Alhaj Haroun for such an excellent action. Other benevolent organizations should emulate the example by contributing to support the kids in the school who are the future leaders of our country. The school should also put in place measures to prevent such future occurrence.

  Beds and mattresses, not "birds". Why will any one donate 'birds' to students affected by fire? To roast and eat them?
