  The government should support such Ghanaian-owned renewable energy companies - by making the sector's varied value-chains tax-free undertakings.
  
  Independent renewable energy generators with storage powering off-grid mini-grids are the only means of providing affordable electricity nationwide.
  
  Bravo to that entrepreneurial and farsighted Ghanaian gentleman - and long may his renewable energy company prosper.
