Besides, as the president has implied by his explanation, majority of his ministers are parliamentarians. Therefore the additional costs are minimal.

Nkrumah did not inherit a chaotic country, he inherited a well organised country with good institutions and systems. Which has deteriorated till now, especially, in the 80s under the leadership of Rawlings. We live in a country now where majority of roads and streets are not named. No proper address systems, no proper postal service. We live in a country where people defecate directly into rivers and other water bodies. We throw rubbish everywhere especially into rivers. The list goes on. When you live in certain countries, you realise ours is not a country, just a group of countrymen living together. Before we can prosper as a nation, we need to spend time and resources to organise the country first. Good addressing and identification systems, good record keeping, good and working institutions etc. Successive governments have failed to deliver that, if Nana thinks he can deliver that with more men, let's see if he can, we can always judge him from the outcome.

Do you know how many ministers France have? And most other western countries having larger populations and less potential riches than we have? If you can't take the heat, never go to the kitchen. Tell your Nana, no one forced him to be president for him so he should stop the pretext and use his head.

Even a million ministers won't do the job if you don't know how; or 10 ministers can do it if you know how to be objective and do know what you want.

Kwasi Pratt should understand that the population of Ghana was not more than 8 million when Nkrumah was the President of Ghana. Now we are over 27 million, more than three times the size we have now. Our cities are choked with traffic, unlike those days. So for Nkrumah to use 44 ministers to rule this country cannot be compared to the country now with a population of 27 million. I will be grateful if Kwasi Pratt, a hypocrite should give a reasonable analysis of the present situation if he wants to equate it with the time of Nkrumah.
