There was near pandemonium and confusion at the Annual Global African Investment Forum held in Westminster, Central London after a heated exchange between Ghana’s President John Mahama and former Nigerian President Olusegun Obasanjo degenerated into open insults.This was due to General Obasanjo openly accusing the Ghanaian president and his government of blackmailing and collecting bribes from Nigerian businessmen in Ghana, buying numerous properties in Nigeria and South Africa and financially contributing 12 million dollars to Goodluck Jonathan’s campaign last year. This infuriated President Mahama who lost his temper and pointing his finger, called General Obasanjo an ” idiot” and a “silly buffoon”.It took other ministers present as well as Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni to calm tempers and usher President Mahama to a nearby room. The forum, which takes place from 1st to 3rd December is attended by African Heads of States, Ministers, Private equity firms and investors to discuss opportunities for investment and development in African Economies.

The only thing NDC dreams of is winning power to steal from the nation's treasury. You have Lodina, the first lady, distributing SUVs to celebrities as if she is a car dealer. Where did she get the money from, aside stealing from treasury? Where did NDC get the money to build a party headquarters? How did Kofi Adams afford to purchase 5 expensive vehicles within 4 years? You have a whole president offering bribe to Bugri Nabu, NPP Northern Regional party chairman. These are just a few examples of a party which came to power with the sole purpose of looting the country. The only reason Mahama targeted only infrastructural development was to inflate the cost to share the excess money with his family members and cronies pocket.

Apart from looting the country, NDC left numerous problems for the country to struggle with: collapse of businesses, dumsor, degrading of our economy, pollution of the airwaves by miscreants like the Montie 3 and party leaders, collapse of all the social intervention programs President Kufour initiated, high taxes, etc.

Does NDC party think the voters are fools? The 2016 election results provides the answer. It will take not less than 20 years for Ghanaians to build any trust and convidence for this corrupt, selfish party called NDC. Even your own founder, former president JJ Rawlings is disgusted and ashamed of what his party has become. Instead of the party apologizing to the good people of Ghana for their misdeeds, they going around annoying people with their plan to come back in 2020. Come back for what? Did you not loot enough?
