Isn't the name of the Location supposed to be 'Kpong' Tamale instead 'Pong' Tamale?

Isn't the name of the Location supposed to be 'Kpong' Tamale instead 'Pong' Tamale?

Our Journalists must do their due diligence to inform us correctly. Familiarity with local nomenclature is an integral requirement for reporting accurately on local issues.
If our own local Journalists cannot provide the correct names for our local places and entities, how could we expect foreign Journalists to be accurate with such names to inform the World appropriately about us? All it takes is a little more research. Our Journalists must put in that extra effort.
