First, I thought she was only ADAMANT in her attacks against John Mahama for Political Capital. But now it appears she is a COMPLETE FOOL.

She appears to lack a DISCERNING MIND and that can be very Dangerous for her, the Govt. and, indeed, the Country.

She is TOO OLD and TOO ARROGANT to be taught what things she can or cannot say as a Minister and I think the ONLY available OPTION is to RE-ASSIGN her to a less VISIBLE Portfolio.

I wish her and the Govt. and the President GOOD LUCK.

I am sorry, but I think this woman has a problem. Instead of making news, she is rather becoming the news. Does it mean that she is lacking in constructive mental cohesion, or she is just a "by heart" talker? She could have made her case without tagging her colleague Minister in that manner. Being an Albino is no disability; it is society that is insensitive and frowns on them, but they are 100% human and capable of achieving greater heights if the right atmosphere is created to accommodate their needs.

Minister for gender, children and women affairs; and she don't speak with her own mama. Isn't that weird? I heard she left her husband because that poor man had stroke. She failed to do her national service because she thought she was too big to serve the nation for free at that time. Everything about this ugly woman weird......

If Mr Hamid is an Albino and so what,in this part of the World (Africa) people make them Albinos feel inferior, and because of their condition of living,especially those who are unfortunate not to get education,are categorized as disabled,so at least they can get some sort of help from the government.
So what is strange about the Minister referring to Mr Hamid as an Albino?
Are Albinos not human beings?
My God, Ghana this attitude is what is causing our lack of progress.

Stressing that her government is all inclusive because a minister has a Disability is positive.
Secondly, she emphasises the point that disability is not inability, citing her colleague minister. Why anybody should read negativity into and call her all manner of names begs the question.
Those of us in the disability fraternity applaud her statement.
If you do not know, please ask so you do not denigrate people any how.

Mustapha Hamid may or may not be an albino. However, the term is not derogatory at all, and if he takes offense at that, then he has a thin skin and should not be in Politics.

No one is perfect. We all have some shortcomings in either physique, looks, or mental ability. The mere mentioning of our disabilities should not enrage us, just as people who would like to talk about it must not do so in a denigrating manner.

Nature has a way of compensating for its lapses. And in us humans, especially, one may lack something but could reasonably make it up in something else. The Deaf, for example, is said to have much higher levels of the sense of touch and smell, and the blind, a much sharpened sense of hearing.

Another example is with many folks we recognize as autistic who may show certain physical impairments but demonstrate extraordinary mental acuity.

For most of us, our families raised us up to respect and not make fun of disabled folks. One other reason our elders teach us to show decency to others with pronounced disabilities is because we may some day fall victim to some accident that could make us extremely disabled, too. Therefore, we should strongly educate our young to respect and be helpful to all who are impaired to live as comfortably as possible. Otiko would need to emphasize that principle to all children she is supposed to be dedicated to help grow up successfully in life.
