@Ghanaman, pls no goro boys at Sekondi passport office I can say that in authority. I ve done my passport there and never paid 1p. Hoping that they should repair or replace the broken camera as soon as possible.

This is a lie. Passport processing officers are trying to extort money from applicants by using some stupid excuse that some of their machines are broken. Our workers don't do anything for free despite being paid.

@Pelicle, Not Sekondi passport office will do that. I know them as competent and law abiding.

If people want to form lines for passport processing starting at midnight in Sekondi they must have the benefit of police protection.

At this twenty-first era where computers, laptop, smart phone solve all problems. Nigeria and other countries citizens apply passport online. Ghanaian are queuing for forms to fill for passport. Shame unto Ghana passport department. Is an insult to Ghana citizens.

I wholeheartedly agree with you. Our institutional mechanisms must be modernized.
It takes less than an hour for an applicant for a driver's license to complete and gain his card in America. In Ghana where I applied for a license in November 2015, after many run arounds I waited till May 2016 before I got the card.
Good governance must be judged along such lines of administrative performances.
There is no reason why we must not take advantage of available technology to quicken our process.
Paperwork encourages fraud, long delay, cost and frustration.

In a country where a whole constituency elects illiterates as MPs what do you expect ordinary citizens to do, that speak and write bad English language. There is no motivation to study the correct one.
