For a parliamentarian to plan to lie with the connivance of other boys in parliament, all those involved must be expelled from Parliament. If they're allowed to go with only an apology parliament will never be taken for a serious institution. This way it can't ever summon an outsider who malign any member or the institution itself. Take a serious action to serve as a deterrent for others. If you don't do it the speaker must be blamed for any future recurrence or worse occurrence.

An M.P. is proven to have lied which has dire consequences for the entire country. Verdict: Just apologize, because your cumulative weighted average in crime is not enough!
The other day, a medically declared lunatic was arrested because he appeared jittery and uncomfortable in a Church a former president was in attendance. Got arrested, in less than a week tried and convicted. Verdict: years in jail. These are common occurrences in this land of " Freedom and Justice"?
