Nana Addo will also hand over if he loses the next election. Praising our Presidents for handing over power will make them swollen headed. It's a clever way of covering their shame of their mismanagement and poor leadership when in govt.

This was just not an oversight but ignorance because a similar mistake was repeated in your post where you failed to enclose the the word 'formal' to indicate that it was not your own but a quote from someone else. I think you will use some basic lessons in punctuation. You see, none of us is perfect as far as the Queen's language is concerned. It was therefore, very wrong on your part not just to criticize but insult others because of their wrong use of English.

John Mahama and his wife, Lordina, have four children, four boys. Can they tell us what has become of these four lads?
The children had the privilege of attending very expensive and exclusive schools in the U.K. However, just like their parents, they neve passed any exams or tests. Currently they live in Dubai as caretakers of their father's hotel there.
Lordina Mahama has also still not yet told Ghanaians the 'type' of job she performed at the Amsterdam red light district.

The problem with John Mahama is he talks a good talk and that is all. It is clear that Africa needs leaders who show great commitment to our development with a sense of urgency. The question however is what steps did he take to address this issue of urgency or what were some of the policy options and programs he took, to address this sense of urgency in a manner that inured to the benefit of the country?
Let's just put it out there that, in Africa and for African leaders, one of the major factors, if not the major factor that has consistently and persistently militated against the rapid development and progress of the continent has to do with corruption.
The percentage of illicit wealth as a function of GDP spirited out of Africa by it's leaders cumulatively, can be described as stupendously outstanding. So essentially in making the case for the urgency of the now, with respect to the rapid development of the African continent, how does he square these competing interests of corruption and that sense of urgency? For example, during his administration Ghana had a serious power crisis that led to the country literally collapsing socio-economically. In applying the principle of urgently addressing some of these infrastructure deficits, he took some measures to bring on stream some energy projects. Can John Mahama say those projects, for example the Ameri energy project met the smell test with regards to corruption? In attempting to answer this, and situate the issues of corruption and urgency within the framework of Africa's development and leadership, recently, an audit done by the current administration on that project described above, determined a staggering amount of over 150 million dollars had been tucked onto the deal and not only that, the timeline for the completion of the project which was classified as urgent, was not met. The recommendations arising from this audit called for, amongst other things, a renegotiation of the deal or an outright abrogation of same.
Essentially therefore, the rapid development of Africa by it's leaders requires a multiplicity of factors not least of which include urgency, competence, understanding of the problems and exactly what needs to be done, knowledge and skills transfer, application of technology, research and development, streamlining of the bureaucracy etc, etc but mostly importantly, there is an urgent need and a very strong impetus to disentangle, disengage and pivot away from everything that has to do with corruption and malfeasance in the governance process. This is most certainly a sure way to free up the needed resources to carry out the required interventions geared towards the development of Africa. A sense of urgency with corruption is just like a driver in a car doing doughnuts-moving around in circles.
And also speaking of African leaders coming to serve and after leaving office, per the constitutional mandate and requirements, Africa is doing well although there is still a lot of room for improvement because we have seen on the continent, the situation where some leaders have tried to change the constitution to entrench themselves in power, against the express wishes of the masses, an abuse of incumbency etc, etc. For example we know of the situation in Burkina Faso. We know of the situation in Gambia where it took the intervention of the AU forces to inject critical sanity and commonsense in that country. Ghana has been lucky it has been spared some of these happenings, although this past election we must admit, was a tense moment.
Fundamentally, there is the realization that an obligation is imposed on leadership to act to serve the interests of the people, to be accountable and deliver in an urgent, incorruptible, visionary, intelligent and competent manner by the appropriate use of resources both human and material that promotes and engenders the rapid development of Africa.
What is increasingly apparent though is, the youthful demographic will broker no form of nonsense from misguided leaders and their sycophantic hangers-on, whose perception of governance and leadership is outside of the mainstream of progressive thought, that advances humanity and socio-economic development.

THAT IF YOU LOST ELECTIONS, YOU LOST THE POSITION AND IT IS OBVIOUS TO GIVE WAY TO THE WINNER. THAT THE DIFFICULTY THAT STILL SOME AFRICAN LEADERS ARE GRAPPLING WITH IS TO DRAW THE DISTINCTION BETWEEN PERSONAL RELATED KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE RELATED CONTENTS BASED WORKS AND ACHIEVEMENTS FROM POLITICAL OFFICE POSITION RELATED WORKS TO HELP BUILD A STRONG AND VIBRANT PUBLIC AND PRIVATE SECTORS PARTNERSHIP.
