  Frankly, Ghartey should not have been appointed to investigate this allegation. In fact, if the Parliament honestly wanted to find out the truth, it should have appointed a neutral entity to do so; some Attorney without any visible or discernible affiliation to either the NPP or the NDC. A non-partisan Lawyer would have been more credible.
  
  Ghartey's own past doesn't qualify him for such an important role.
