  Re thinking criminal justice delivery system in our country should be viewed as serious penal reform strategic intervention that goes beyong a makeshift approach of this kind
  The justice for all programme l have consistently and persistently indicate has no theoritical or indeed social scientic framework or ideology
  It is never informed by any credible and prudent reasearch outcome and in my professional opinion a hollow knee-jerk intervention approach to resolving the failures of the criminal code and he foolhardiness of the so called policy makers to address prison overcrowding in a more sensible and resesrch based manner
  In 2012, l approached the chief justice and expressed tge readiness to share my several experiences acquired working with the british criminal justice system
  The least said about the response the better
  But tge evidence is clear that nothing has been done with the much needed penal reform inghana
  The irresponsible,insensitive,unprofessional approaches ,knee-jerk as they are is not the most prudent way crimnal justice rethinking is undertaken serious democracies which value imprisonment as human rights issues
  Ghana's criminal justice delivery system is a joke and a failure

  Presumed innocent until proven guilty!! Why the heck are people remanded for years and years because there is a delay or lack of prosecution? Justice delayed is justice denied. This justice for all is excellent. there should be a secretariat set up permanently to continue this good work until we get to the stage where we obey our own laws and not keep people injail or prison for inordinate amounts of time just becausa we are not prepared to pay the price for an efficient justice system.
