That is a lame explanation, Mr former Minister. Which government did not think about the long term? Every govt built infrastructure according to the resources at its disposal but Mahama decided that the only way to steal is to build some projects and inflate the costs. In any case, the so-called infrastructure could not even translate into economic growth as witnessed in other economies.

Mahama is simply incompetent and visionless. Any visionary leader who looks to infrastructure as a long term vision will boldly embark on establishing a modern railway system, build inland ports, irrigation dams and mechanized agriculture. Those projects would have transformed the economy and expanded businesses.

Our problem in this country is dishonesty and hypocrisy. The former President and his govt were too greedy ad believed Ghanaians are too shallow so they could deceive them with a few disjointed projects and win elections. Let's call a spade a spade. Mahama was simply a failure.
