We form about 99.9% of the working population but the less than 0.1% take everything. Take a Parliamentarian who has never worked and contributed any TAX, will qualify for Ex Gratia after 4 years. Why are we exhibiting all animal instincts in Ghana?

Please Mr Lawyer, I am in full support of your action. I pray you succeed. How many times under article 71 of the 1992 constitution of Ghana can one public servant retire from active service? the constitution has no provision for any category of people to retire, take ex-gracia and then come back to parliament/office, retire after four years and then come back. Some MPs like ET Mensah, Alban Bagbin, ETC have enjoyed Ex-gracia for so many times. The have also gone on retirement several times. Only in ghana do we see some public servants going on retirement several times against the national kitty whiles still in active service and these are people who are to make law for us. Tweeeaaaaa

The ex-gratia in my opinion, the most corrupt law introduced by the Kuffuor government through the Chenerry Hesse Commision to loot the Country by the country's politicians and must be abolished with immediate effect. All wise Ghanaians must support this lawyer on the matter. The politicians are "killing" Ghanaians.

It is about time the people of Ghana take such steps to prove to the useless MPs that real power belong to every one. God bless you my brother in your quest! These people have robbed and taken Ghana for granted. looting Ghana in the name of political roles and power. Any body walks out of university, joins a political party, talks and yells nonsense and get elected MP. Then get paid huge benefits for no work or impact made as the ordinary tax payer suffers. God help you my brother. Some sit in parliament for 4 years, will never sneeze and cough a word and yell nonsense on radio. Then we pay them valuable cash that could have been used to enhance the lives of ordinary people. God bless your effort!!

Very encouraging and impressive! That that an individual Lawyer can take up this matter. Where are the civil society, Occupy Ghana, and the rest?

How can single fellow takes ex-gratia after every 4 years. This should be stripped off if you are a continuing parliamentarian. It should be replaced with some form of allowance for actively serving the nation and should be just about 10% of the said ex-gratia. The parliamentarians said to us that they have passion for we the vulnerable but for all I know they are there for their own gains. That ex-gratia should be stripped off if you are a continuing member of parliament.

Ghanaians deserve better from the political elite. Citizens should make or create their wealth not directly from the public purse. Public funds should be used to serve all at no extreme diference. Those who believe in wealth and money can be made in a smart and short cut way through the public purse are to be encouraged to explore and exploit this through a private initiative. The public purse should be shared equitably. Ready to join citizens demo. Until the right laws and policies are made for equitale distribution of national wealth.
